Privacy notice
TraderRing is not open yet. Right now this site does one thing: it takes your details for the launch list. This notice explains what happens to them.

What the form collects
The launch-list form asks for your name, your business name, your trade, your main postcode, your mobile number and your email address. It also records that you ticked the box agreeing we may contact you. That is everything — there is no hidden field and no profiling.
We ask for the postcode and trade so we can tell you when TraderRing opens for your area and your line of work, rather than emailing everyone about something that does not apply to them.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will delete your entry — see below. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you asked.
Where it is kept
In a single database file on a server we rent from netcup, used only by this site. It is not loaded into a CRM, not shared with other companies, and not sold to anyone. Backups of that file are taken nightly and kept for a fortnight before being overwritten.
If we switch on email notifications for new signups, those emails are sent through Resend, which would process your name and contact details in order to deliver the message to us.
How long we keep it
Until TraderRing launches and we have contacted you about it, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. If the product never launches we will delete the list rather than sit on it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the page get read. It sets cookies, so we ask first and it stays switched off unless you press Accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, the Google Analytics script is never even downloaded — not just blocked, not loaded at all.
The one thing we store without asking is your answer to that banner, kept in your browser so we do not badger you on every page. It is not a tracking cookie and it never leaves your device.
There is no advertising on this site, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party pixels beyond Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your entry entirely
- stop using it, or hand it back to you in a portable form
Email hello@orderring.co.uk and we will do it. There is no form to fill in and we will not ask you why.
If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes
TraderRing is being built, so this notice will change as the product does — particularly once it starts answering calls, which raises questions this version does not cover. The date at the top is when it last changed.
